How much money am I expected to raise?

The Canuck Place Adventure Race is a fundraising event that helps support over 715 Canuck Place children and families across BC. You can help Canuck Place be there when they need us the most by raising funds for your race, we recommend $500 (full course and relay) or $150 (kids’ challenge). We’re here to help you achieve your goal with tips and tools which you can find here.

How do I access my participant centre?

Once you register, you will receive an email to access your Participant Centre. This will become your fundraising home base. You will use your username and password to login and access great tips and tools to help you set up or edit your Personal Page, send emails to potential donors or teammates, monitor your donations, and much more!If you can’t remember your details after registration, you can always request a new password from the Participant Centre login page, or call us at 604-730- 3305 and we can reset your password for you.

What if some of my supporters want to give me cash or cheque donations?

While donating online is quick and easy, some of your supporters may wish to give you cash or cheque donations.  Keep track of these donations with a pledge form and make sure you capture all of your donor’s information so we can issue a tax receipt. You can also enter these donations through your online participant centre so that they are reflected as part of your total.

Can I do the event as a relay?

Yes, a different member of your team may complete each leg of the race! Simply select the relay option when you register.

I/one of my supporters lost their tax receipt, how can I get a new one?

No problem! Simply email adventurerace@canuckplace.org with the details of the donation and we’d be happy to reissue it.

What times do the full course and kids' challenge start? 

Registration for Adventure Race opens at 8:00AM where you can come join us for coffee, bagels, pre-race stretching, and games. The full course begins at 9:00AM sharp followed by the kids' challenge begins at 10:00AM. 

When/where is the racer package pick-up? 

Racer packages can be picked-up on Thursday, September 13th and Friday, September 14th from 4:30-7:30pm from the front porch of Canuck Place Children's Hospice (1690 Matthews Avenue, Vancouver). If you are not able to pick-up your package yourself, feel free to send along someone else to pick it up on your behalf.
